Jupiter Inlet dredging

Last night, contractors started dredging the Jupiter Inlet sand trap. This image was captured as sand started flwing out the pipe at around 1am. The inlet is being dredged for about a week and the sand is being placed on the beach. Since this work is being done during turtle nesting season, a crew is monitoring the beach for nesting turtles. If a nesting turtle approaches the work area, all work will be stopped.
